Crown-sector compensation from the annual CIC Payee Disclosure Report
Each year, Crown Investments Corporation (CIC) tables a Payee Disclosure Report with the Legislative Assembly's Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies. It lists every Crown-sector employee paid $50,000 or more in remuneration during the fiscal year (April 1 – March 31), along with the Crown corporation they work for. It is Saskatchewan's closest equivalent to a public-sector “sunshine list,” though it covers the Crown sector specifically rather than the entire government.
The report covers the CIC Crown corporations and their subsidiaries:
Each disclosed record includes the employee's name, the Crown corporation, and their total remuneration for the fiscal year. (Job titles are not published in this report, so they are not shown here.)
This is the Crown sector only. It does not include the core Government of Saskatchewan (ministries), the Saskatchewan Health Authority, or the universities — Saskatchewan does not publish those salaries in a single machine-readable list, so they are out of scope for this site.
Figures are total remuneration paid during the fiscal year: salaries, wages, salary holdbacks, payments in lieu of notice, vacation payouts, and other taxable benefits. They are exact amounts, not bands. Because the report counts money paid in a given year, a one-time payout (such as severance or a holdback) can lift a person's total for a single year, so an individual's year-over-year figures should be compared with care. The amounts exclude the employer-paid portion of pensions and benefits.
This site is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the Government of Saskatchewan or Crown Investments Corporation. Data is sourced from the CIC Crown-Sector Payee Disclosure Reports and updated when new fiscal years are released.
