New Brunswick's hospitals are run by two regional health authorities — the anglophone Horizon Health Network and the francophone Réseau de santé Vitalité — with ambulance and home care delivered by EM/ANB Inc.. Together they are the largest block on the province's salary disclosure: in 2025, 8,027 health-authority employees were paid $80,000 or more, 4,380 of them at Horizon and 2,630 at Vitalité, plus 1,008 at EM/ANB (the remaining 9 are at New Brunswick Health Council).
This is a list dominated by front-line staff — nurses above all — not executives. At Horizon, 87% of disclosed employees are in the two lowest bands ($80,000–$124,999), and at Vitalité 86%; only 39 people across both networks are in bands starting at $200,000 or more. Those upper bands hold the two presidents and CEOs, the vice-presidents, and salaried physician leaders; most physicians bill Medicare on a fee-for-service basis and are not employees, so they do not appear here.
The highest band in the sector belongs to Margaret Melanson at Horizon Health Network, disclosed in the $575,000–$599,999 band. New Brunswick discloses each salary as a $25,000 band, not an exact amount, and publishes no job titles; every table on this page shows the disclosed band and groups people by band rather than ranking them.

Réseau de santé Vitalité is the francophone network, centred on the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, the Chaleur Regional in Bathurst and the Edmundston Regional. How many health-authority employees reached the threshold each year. This is a poor measure of hiring: 2020 used a $60,000 threshold and its $75,000–$99,999 band cannot be split at the $80,000 line that applies from 2021, so 2020 is not comparable with any later year; a fixed dollar threshold means each nursing wage settlement carries more people over it; and the 2021 and 2022 counts are lower than the surrounding years in the published source itself. Read these as counts of people disclosed, not headcounts.
